A garden is a delight to the eye and a solace for the soul. - Sadi
Gardening gives me fun and health and knowledge.
It gives me laughter and colour. It gives me pictures
of almost incredible beauty.

Shirley

I spend a lot of my time during the holidays sitting and admiring the gardens in my sisters’s homes. All of them have great gardens. Celine doesn’t particularly like gardens ( the first two pictures) which are too organised. She likes her plants to have the freedom to ramble and then there is Shirley’s garden which is a profusion of colours and frangances. Caddy’s is the 4th picturet beautifully landscaped ( you might just see if you closely enough spot a bird on the vine) inviting one to linger and enjoy tea on the terrace. When I got home I was greeted by my own little garden with the lilly in bloom and the begonia ( I think it is a begonia) in its glorious best.
The quotes I opened this post with best describes my feelings about nature.

Dear Ms Singham,
I enjoy your musings above life, nature, love and learning. I would like to get in touch with you as I am studying about adult learning. What is the best way to reach you?
